JCP&L's Energy Solutions for Business Program
Upgrading energy efficient equipment can be a significant investment, especially with a business’s day-to-day costs. This program helps by offering financial incentives to reduce your upfront costs, improve your return on investment, and lower your energy bills over time. Using more efficient equipment allows for less energy consumption and fewer greenhouse gas emissions.
Energy Solutions for Business includes a variety of programs designed to fit your business’s unique energy-saving goals:

Midstream (Instant Discount)
Retrocommissioning (RCx)
Retrocommissioning-Lite (RCx-Lite)
Virtual Commissioning (VCx) and Virtual Strategic Energy Management (VSEM)
Strategic Energy Management (SEM)
Engineered Solutions Tier I
Engineered Solutions Tier II
The program is active from January 1, 2025, through June 30, 2027.
Your project may be eligible if you’re a JCP&L customer on a commercial rate class. To confirm, check your electric bill and make sure your rate class is not one of the following:
Residential Service (RS)
Residential Time-of-Day Service (RST)
Residential Geothermal & Heat Pump Service (RGT)
On-bill Repayment (OBR) Financing is available for commercial energy efficiency projects through the National Energy Improvement Fund (NEIF). Qualifying improvements receive 0% financing for up to 60 months.
