Overview
The New Jersey Health Insurance Funds include the largest collection of non-state operated public entity insurance pools in the country. There are nine individual HIFs that serve municipalities, schools, counties, authorities, and other public entities across New Jersey. PERMA is the appointed administrator of these Funds. Each Fund offers proven long-term rate stability, reliability, and savings for members. The "hi Fund” is a branding name used only by these specific Funds. It is not a company or health insurance fund (HIF), serving only in the promotion, education, and advancement of HIFs in New Jersey. Each HIF maintains a separate web site as required by statute
