NJDOT’s Division of Local Aid and Economic Development focuses on serving county and municipal governments through administering several grant programs. The Economic Development portion of Local Aid consists of Major Access Permits, Outdoor Advertising, and Junkyards.
The Resource Center team assists local public agencies in application readiness, project delivery, various training initiatives, and other technical needs. The website serves as a hub for information. A dedicated hotline (609-649-9395) and email (DOT-LocalAID.ResourceCenter@dot.nj.gov) enable prompt responses to questions and concerns.
